Operation

  • Minimizes surges associated with pump start/stop.
  • Closes when pump discharge pressure falls below an adjustable minimum, increasing back pressure against the pump.
  • For booster pumps: installed inline on the discharge of the pump.
  • For deep-well pumps: installed on a bypass line between the pump discharge and the pump check valve.
